By: Angelica Something I can teach who ever reads this column something new. Here at Valley Mental Health Day Treatment, there has been some “Behind the Scenes” stuff happening lately. There has been negative and positive things’ happening, but to be honest mostly negative. We’ve been having some Gang affiliation going on that is getting out of hand, so out of hand that no matter what level, or clothing pass you use you are not allowed to wear your own clothes for the moment. Although this sucks, the suckiest part about it is it’s SPIRIT WEEK! We’ve also been having students smuggling drugs in the school and passing it on to other peers. So the reason for me bringing this up is for the message of, “stop getting in trouble, stop what you are doing that is going to lead you to trouble, and Quit all this gang stuff you aren’t proving a point, plus you’re just ruining Privileges for the peers that have been doing good and working hard!"

Today I would have to say that it is my worst day that I am having. That is because of a peer is saying a whole lot of crap that isn’t true and my boyfriend is mad at me. Right now I feel like the stupid drama is coming back into my life again. It is getting to the point where I am just done with it because I have never had a time where I wasn’t put into all of the stupid drama. I don’t know how to get the drama out of my life.

The name of the song is “Devil Beside You”. The artist is The Used, my favorite band. The c.d. is Heaven & Hell. The reason I listen to them is because their style of music. I love hearing the Bass, Guitar, Drums & vocals of the band. The story’s for their music come from lead singer Bert. The greatest reason I like about them is they came from Utah. My home state.

My favorite sports team is the Dallas Cowboys A.K.A the Dallas Cowgirls. I began to like them when I was a little kid, thanks to my Uncle Blake. This season they are sucking very bad and have only won a total of 2 games out of about 10 which makes them one of the worst teams this season. My favorite player on the Dallas Cowboys is Marion Barber because of his raw skill to out perform and shine above all of his teammates. If he were to leave the team I think that they may have just given up their best player on the team. My least favorite player is Tony Romo (the quarterback), because of his inability to perform while under pressure.By Chase Upcoming holidays- Christmas On Christmas mornings I usually wake up and of course go and see how many presents I have under the Christmas tree. Then I hurry and wake everyone up by jumping on them until they yell. Then we all gather around in the living room and start opening up presents while my grandma takes pictures. He is also the best fighter in that Iron Man suit and he can destroy anything in the Iron Man suit. He also tries to defeat all his enemies when they are causing trouble with the world. The movie I am going to write about is Avatar. There are big blue people and you got to save some type of world and you learn about a body. Then you get put in the blue body. Then you become the big Avatar to go fight the humans. And you get to fly dragon type things and weird airplanes to fight the Avatar.
~Current events~ My brother, who was on a diesel trip with my dad had come across Washington state and stopped at a truck stop. While they were there a huge RV comes from the road and my brother went outside to take a break and he turns around and sees a kid that looked like Justin Bieber. So my brother told him that he looked like Justin Bieber. The kid turned out to be Justin Bieber and he was there for his new song “Pray.” So my brother got to spend a little time with Justin Bieber while they were in Washington.

Now the staff are making us all wear solid color clothing, so the only shirts that you can wear are black, white, or gray and that’s it. If you’re a level 4 and it's Friday they still don’t care you still can't wear your own clothing and if you’re a higher level like a 5 or a 6 too bad, still can't wear any other clothing other then solid colors and black, white or gray. If you don’t have a black, gray or white binder you have to get it changed, because that’s the only ones you can have, so sorry every one. I just want to say stop blaming the staff, blame the kids that think they're smart and think that they can do whatever they want and the only reason the staff had to do this was so they could keep us safe…
P.S. YOU CAN'T USE CLOTHING PASSES EITHER, SO SAY THANKS TO THE KIDS THAT THINK THEY HAVE TO SHOW OFF THAT THEY'RE IN GANGS AND JUST TO LET THE ONES KNOW THAT ARE IN GANGS IT'S NOT AS COOL AS YOU THINK IT IS, SO STOP MESSING IT UP FOR EVERYONE. Christmas Freaking awesome holiday with love and gifts and kissing plants. I love mistletoe because it makes it legal to kiss a total stranger. It makes me happy when I can spend time with my family and eat pigs and cake. It proves how selfish and high thinking Americans are when we can just sit on a couch and have gifts brought to you. CHRISTMAS!!! Christmas is finally almost here!!! Christmas isn’t just about the presents. If you're religious it’s the day you celebrate God's birth, if you’re not it could just be a day to give and receive gifts and spend time with your family. In my family we all go to my grandma's and open all our gifts together and then go have a huge snow ball fight. Christmas is such a great holiday and we should always be grateful for what you get.

I like this song because it talks about love. The way he tells her that he loves her, that he will be there for her. It just brings good memories back when I listen to this song. Every time I hear it I get butterflies in my stomach. The lyrics go something like this “you maken me feel so dam brand new, I like the way you make me feel per por que asendo lo ace y amand no es por que.”

This is one of the best songs I have ever heard it’s all about love. He sings this one part in his songs “I wanna be stuck with you”. I like the way he sings. I think he is a good singer. I like the way he looks.

I love this song because it brings back memories. My best buddy passed away and told me if he ever passed away he didn’t want me to waste my tears on him. The lyrics go like this “Until I die, until I am gone I feel like the queen of everything”. I like the beat to the song, it sounds cool I guess. When I first heard this song I started to shed tears. But I noticed that I had a lot of loved ones pass away. Current events The current events we are having is a Christmas party. It is on Wednesday at Hollywood Connection. But if you go to ASR or ISS you will not go. You can bring up to 5 dollars they will have food for you there. And the most important thing is to have FUN.

The Jazz smoked the Lakers and they have been playing really good this season. The score was 102 to 96. My favorite player is Andre Kirilenko. Kirilenko guards really good. The Jazz have some really tall players. The Jazz had two wins and one loss. John Stockton was oneof the best stealers on the team .
